International Day - Friday 15th February 2019

A Letter from the School Council – International Day – 15th February 2019

Dear Parents/Carers,

On Friday 15th February 2019 your children are going to participate in International Day. The reason why we are having an International Day is so that we can celebrate all the wonderful variety of nationalities that we have here at school.

We would like your children to dress up. We were thinking in a national costume or if this isn’t possible your child could dress up in the colours of their flag or in their country’s football shirts (No football boots or shorts).

Each class will be doing different activities which might be about food from their country. If any food is made at home or brought in to school please send in a complete list of ingredients. Absolutely no nuts or anything containing nuts should be brought in to school because some of us have severe allergies to them.

At the end of the day we are going to have a parade of nations and we would love you to join us for this at 2.30pm on the KS2 playground.

Children will not have to bring any money for the day.

Thank you for your support.

Yours sincerely,

School Council
