Key Stage 1 are supporting the Northampton Trustee Fund for Lent

During Lent, each class has been asked to support a charity.

On Monday 4th March 2019 we had a visit from the Northampton Trustee Fund – the charity we will be supporting in Key Stage 1.

The charity is run by two teachers that visit a village called Penyem in The Gambia where they have set up a school and medical centre to help the children and families of this area. If you would like more information please visit the following website www.northamptontrusteefund.co.uk.

We have decided to support them by collecting small change, for example 1p’s and 2p’s as well as old and new pencil cases with small amounts of stationary inside.

They will be visiting our school again just after Easter so it would we lovely if we could have your donations ready for this time.

The Northampton Trustee Fund will be returning to school to update us on how your giving has made a difference in Penyem.

Please could any kind donations be in school by Friday 5th April 2019.
