SPORTS DAY THURSDAY 27th JUNE 2019

Dear Parent/Carer,

I would like to invite you to join us for Sports Day. This year it will take place on Thursday 27th June.

EYFS & KS1: 10:00am Start Time (Reception, Year 1, Year 2)

KS2: 1:15pm Start Time (Year 3, 4, 5, 6)

Could we please ask that all KS1 parents/carers depart school site by 12:00am as the KS2 event will require setup.

The events will be individual and team events, children will be active throughout so please just follow your child around on their assigned event. Children will stay with their class teacher and not able to leave their class, please stay behind the barriers.

Each child will be assigned a coloured team, Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue. Please could they wear this colour T-shirt on Sports Day (THIS MAY NOT BE THEIR HOUSE COLOUR).

This year in KS2 we are looking for parents/carers to help out their child’s class, we feel giving support to the class teacher will make the events run much more smoothly and be more enjoyable for everyone involved. If you are able to help support you child’s KS2 class, please leave your name with the office as soon as possible.

Please make sure your child has suitable PE kit, a hat and sun cream (weather dependant). No jewellery to be worn. Please make sure your child has a water bottle with them on the day.

We look forward to seeing you on the day.

Many Thanks,

Mr Ben Pearce

PE Sports Coach
