Wednesday 30th January 2019 - Ethos Team Assembly

The Ethos Team delivered an assembly ‘Every Cloud has a Silver Lining’ to the whole school. First of all they explained that the Ethos team are a group of Year 5 and 6 pupils who come together each week with Mrs Darwin to pray, sing and then discuss how they can be leaders of faith and prayer in the school.

In the assembly they shared words of wisdom from Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends and compared them to words from Saint Paul in the New Testament.

The messages which were the same were:

Never lose hope

Put others first

Be patient with one another

Work hard

Don’t give up easily

Smile and be happy – this makes other people happy too

When times get tough remember that we always have Jesus in our lives…He is our friend…. He is our silver lining!

The Team did a fantastic job!
