On Saturday 17th June 2023 The National Education Union (NEU) announced that its ballot of teacher members in England has met the thresholds required to commence industrial action on the following dates;
• Wednesday 5 th July 2023
• Friday 7th July 2023

You will be aware that here at The Good Shepherd, we currently run an After-School Homework Club from 3.15pm-5.00pm.
Initially we had two dedicated staff members who set up the club to provide wraparound care which offered an opportunity for children to do homework and have a snack as well as socialise with friends.
I am writing to you after the events of yesterday within our local community.

The Good Shepherd Catholic Primary school will be open only for children in Nursery and Year 4 and closed for all other year groups and classes on these dates:

Thursday 16th March
The Good Shepherd are looking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor and an After School Club Assistant as soon as possible.
Strep A infections can include illnesses such as scarlet fever, sore throats and impetigo.
Although scarlet fever is usually a mild illness, it should be treated with antibiotics to minimise the risk of complications and reduce the spread to others.
