Feast of The Epiphany 2024
On the Feast of The Epiphany, Mary and Joseph welcomed a visitor. We welcomed Fr Daniel, who visited every room in our school, he blessed all our classrooms in preparation for the new year.

Serving our local community
On Monday 18th December, 2023 the choir performed some Christmas songs at Symphony House. They were fantastic and represented The Good Shepherd marvellously.
This year, Year 3 are raising money for a local charity, Cynthia Spencer. They have completed a sponsored Reindeer Run (in freezing temperatures), created colourful Christmas cards and designed beautiful clay angels.
Schools Mass
On Friday 6th October 2023, the School Mission Team represented our school at The Schools Mass at St. Mary's Dunstable.
New Academic Year 2023 - 2024
On Monday 4th September, 2023 we celebrated a Good Shepherd staff Mass, lead by Fr Andrew. We spoke and prayed about the upcoming school year.
Becketfest!
On Wednesday 12th July, 2023 The Good Shepherd choir took part in Becketfest! They performed in front of hundreds of people. They sang three songs and behaved incredibly well.
Bishop David Celebrates Mass
On Tuesday 11th July, 2023, Bishop David and Fr Andrew came to celebrate Mass with our whole school. We celebrated our Y6 leavers and welcomed those children who celebrated their First Holy Communion to come in their dresses and suits.
First Holy Communion
On Saturday 13th May, 2023 several of our children celebrated their First Holy Communion at Northampton Cathedral.
Multi-Faith Service
On Tuesday 2nd May, 2023 our children sang beautifully in front of over a hundred adults including multi-faith leaders, heads of the emergency services, headteachers of other schools and the vice Lord-Lieutenant. They sang three songs, The Lords my Shepherd, Ave Maria and When I Grow Up.
Adoration - Healing
On Tuesday 21st March, 2023 Y1 - Y6 walked to St. Aidan's to celebrate Adoration. It was a themed Adoration of Healing. Each child wrote a private healing prayer to share with Jesus. Fr. Andrew helped lead the service with readings and singing.
Lent 2023
On Tuesday 22nd February, 2023, we welcomed Ben from Northampton Cathedral. He went round to each class and distributed the Holy Ashes. He spent a few minutes explaining the meaning behind the ashes and discussed the children's Lenten promises.
Shrove Tuesday 2023
On Tuesday 21st February, 2023 Mrs Dodd's delivered a special Whole School Worship to deliver the true meaning of Shrove Tuesday. We then shared a pancake recipe on our Twitter and tried some pancakes!
